At Shishido Hills Country Club, golfers enjoy one of Japan’s most prestigious and scenic courses. Set among rolling hills and lush greenery, the course combines beauty and challenge with meticulously maintained fairways, strategically placed hazards, and stunning views at every hole.
The club features East and West courses, and subject to availability, your group will play the West Course. Designed by Akira Hochi, the course hosts the BMW Japan Golf Tour Championship and has been voted “Best Course in Japan” by readers of Asia Golf Monthly.

Set in the tranquil countryside of Ishioka, Summit Golf Club combines breathtaking scenery with a course that both delights and challenges. At first glance, its beauty is disarming, but beneath the surface lies a cleverly designed layout that rewards smart strategy and precision.
As is tradition in Japan, play pauses at the turn for a leisurely lunch (at own expense) - the perfect chance to recharge before heading back out. And after your round, there’s no better way to unwind than slipping into the soothing onsen bath, washing away missed shots and relaxing your muscles in preparation for the next day’s play.
Caddie and cart included.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus - who praised it as “the best Japanese golf course I know” - this exceptional parkland course is carved from the Kogama Forest. Set on virtually flat terrain, its thoughtful layout invites players to use every club in the bag. Narrow fairways demand precision off the tee, while strategically placed bunkers test accuracy at every turn. The large, multi-tiered greens, with their subtle Nicklaus-style undulations, add an extra layer of complexity to approach shots and putting.
The club proudly hosted the ISPS Handa Championship in 2023.
Caddie and cart included.
Oarai Golf Club is the oldest course in Ibaraki Prefecture and the celebrated masterpiece of Japan’s renowned course designer, Seiichi Inoue. Ranked #9 in Japan by top100golfcourses.com and a fixture on Golf Digest’s World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses, it’s a true standout on Japan’s golfing landscape.
Set beside the Pacific Ocean, it’s one of the few courses in Japan to offer a traditional coastal links-style layout, with clear British design influences. Here, you’ll find pure, unpretentious golf in a serene seaside setting, where ocean breezes, whispering pines, and a cleverly routed course create an experience both authentic and memorable.
Expect meticulously kept fairways, well-placed bunkers, and quick, true-running greens, all framed by sweeping ocean views. This is classic golf at its most genuine - a course that rewards strategy, creativity, and a love for the game’s traditions.
Your round includes a caddie to guide you through the course’s subtleties. Do note, this is a walking course, in keeping with its traditional spirit. A mid-round lunch break at the clubhouse provides a perfect pause to enjoy a meal and the invigorating ocean air before tackling the back nine. (At own expense).
Oarai is a walking course. Caddie included.
